American Heart Association CPR Certification Classes

The Hoover Fire Department is pleased to be able to offer CPR courses to our community and health care providers. These classes have proven time and again that they can and do save lives.

The Hoover Fire Department offers American Heart Association CPR certification classes for the general public on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. The classes are held at Hoover Fire Station 7 located at 100 Inverness Parkway, which is off Valleydale Road near Highway 280.

Classes begin at 9:00am and last approximately 4 hours. Please click a button below to register for class.

*Please note that class size is limited and you are required to register for a class using our online system. Online payment is required to complete your registration. Payments are non-refundable. You may reschedule a class you have paid for as long as more than 24 hours’ notice is given. If you show up and are not registered, you will be denied the course that day.

*American Heart Association (AHA) issues your certification cards electronically to the email address you used when you signed in for the class. Heartsaver/AED CPR

This class is designed for the layperson (non-healthcare provider) who is seeking to learn CPR and AED operation. This course provides training for infant, child, and adult resuscitation.

This class is available on the 1st Saturday of each month, begins at 9:00 A.M. and lasts approximately 4 hours.

The cost for this class is $45.00 paid online at time of registration.
