The Hoover Fire Department is pleased to be able to offer American Heart Association Heartsaver/AED CPR courses to our community. This class is designed for the layperson (non-healthcare provider) who is seeking to learn CPR and AED operation. This course provides training for infant, child, and adult resuscitation. These classes have proven time and again that they can and do save lives.

The Hoover Fire Department offers this CPR certification classes for the general public on the 1st Saturday of each month. The classes are held at Hoover Fire Station 7 located at 100 Inverness Parkway, which is off Valleydale Road near Highway 280.

Classes begin at 9:00am and last approximately 4 hours. The cost for this class is $45.00. Bring a check made out to the Hoover Fire Department on the day of class. Please email Lt. Lavender to register and hold your spot for the course. Please note that class size is limited to 10.

American Heart Association (AHA) issues your certification cards electronically to the email address you used when you signed in for the class. Please make sure your email address is correct and you remember which email address you used. Cards may take 5-7 business days to process.
