The Hoover Fire Department hosted the annual 9/11 Ceremony today. Many attended the event held at Fire Station # 2. Former Alabama Congressman Spencer Bachus was our guest speaker. As we look back on the events that happened 14 years ago, we must never forget the sacrifices that were made that day. We also must never forget the sacrifices of our men and women serving to protect this great nation. And, we must never forget those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we so richly enjoy. We would also like to thank the Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel, and the Ross Bridge Hotel and Resort for providing meals for our personnel today.
