Congratulations to Lt. Larry Florence who received the Southeastern Firefighter of the Year Award from the American Legion on June 19, 2015. Lt. Florence received this award for his actions last year stopping a rolling fire engine. The American Legion named him Alabama Firefighter of the Year in 2014 automatically nominating him for this award.
