SAFETY TIPS FOR 4TH OF JULY

Ahead of July 4th, Hoover Fire Department reminds the community to exercise caution when using fireworks. More than 9000 serious injuries and 20,000 fires are linked to the use of fireworks each year.

 Additionally, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall by American Promotional Events of the company’s TNT Red, White & Blue Smoke Fireworks, “The fireworks can explode unexpectedly after being lit, posing burn and injury hazards to consumers,” says CPSC recall.
